Couture Locks Policies & Procedures

Booking & Payment

  • Your place on a course is only confirmed once the non-refundable deposit has been paid and we have received a completed registration form.
  • Full payment is required on the morning of the course before the course starts. You may make as many partial payments as you wish between the deposit and the course date.
  • If the final payment is not received before the course starts, your initial deposit will be forfeited.
  • Upon processing your booking, we will issue a booking confirmation to your provided email address, along with instructions for getting to the venue.
  • Payment can be made by Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer, or Cash.

Cancellations & Transfers

  • More than 14 days before the course start date: A 10% charge will be applied to cancel, and the remainder of your deposit will be refunded via the original payment method.
  • Less than 7 days before the course start date: A 50% charge will be applied to cancel, and the remainder of your deposit will be refunded via the original payment method.
  • Less than 24 hours before the course start date: No refund will be made.
  • Course Transfers: We are happy to transfer you to another available course date if we receive written notification at least 7 days before your original start date. A transfer request received less than 7 days before the course will incur a 10% administration fee. No more than one transfer will be allowed.
  • All cancellation and transfer requests must be received in writing via email at couturelocksbygeorgia@gmail.com or through Instagram at @couturelocks_bygeorgia.

Travel Costs

  • If our trainer is traveling to your salon or studio, any travel costs will be due at the time the deposit is paid. Travel arrangements will not be booked or confirmed until this payment is received.
  • In the event of a cancellation or date change, you will only receive a refund for the proportion of travel costs we are able to recover. If we are unable to recover any costs, no refund will be provided.

Course Delivery

  • Course attendance is the sole responsibility of the student.
  • Couture Locks Academy reserves the right to relocate a course to a different venue should circumstances beyond our control dictate. Notice will be given to students as soon as is practical.
  • While our course is ABT accredited, we are unable to offer advice or guidance on local policies and procedures. It is your responsibility to contact your local licensing department to ensure this course is suitable for obtaining a license in your area.

Training Kits

We will provide a starter toolkit on the first day of your course. The contents of this kit are yours to keep. The contents may be altered from time to time due to circumstances beyond our control.

Product Use

  • Our hair care products are designed for use with natural hair and hair extensions.
  • We are not responsible for any damage to your hair or extensions resulting from improper use. Always follow the directions for use.

Returns & Refunds

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 14 days of receipt for a refund.
  • To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused and in its original packaging.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
